The era depicted in this print is one that the artist, Tim Spransy, has a particular fondness for. It was a simpler and more innocent time. One in which the average professional baseball player returned to his blue collar job in the off season and worked alongside our fathers and uncles. They were our neighbors, our friends. They played for the love of the game.
